*Edit: But there shouldn’t be any doubt about it. There can’t be any concerns about long term impact.

Bevo indicating Dale Morris and Marcus Adams might be available for selection the week after next.

Dale Morris is officially not human.

Adams and Cordy have played a bit up forward before so out of one those two I reckon. I would probably keep Naughton and Young back in defence.

              What a champ Dale is.

Premiership player and was a joy seeing that tackle he did on Buddy in our premiership win.

Picko was one of a number of Bulldogs at Yarraville-Seddon Eagles junior training last night. Unfortunately Picko wasn't with my sons group (he had Caleb and Biggsy) so I didn't see how involved Picko got with things or whether he was asked about how he was going.

It is terrific that the players (in this case Caleb, Biggsy, Picko, Dicko and Roarke - and I think Marcus Adams might have been there too) make the effort to come out to Junior clubs and do this on their Tuesday night. I know the club requires them to do it, but they turn up with a good attitude and do a great job with the kids.

I'd like to see Adams trialed at CHF with the other 3 to become the cornerstone of our defence for the next 10+ years.

A couple of weeks after the grand final I met a couple of Scottish backpackers, we got talking footy and to cut a long story short we ended up at the Bulldog Museum. While we were there a group of players walked past and I grabbed my new friends, pointed out Dale Morris to them and said "that bloke right there played in a grand final in front of 100 000 people with two broken bones in his back." I really don't think they believed me. I probably wouldn't have.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I didn't bloody well believe it, so I don't blame them.

Bevo was on Marngrook last night and said that Picko was back into training, he said they will give him 4 weeks of training then assess him but he expects that he will return at some stage.

I hope we can stay vaguely in touch over the next 5 weeks or so and have Picken and Morris return in the same game. I'd hate to be our opponents that week.

Adelaide have had a spate of hammies and have decided to have a full review of training and what they do.

Injury crisis forces hamstrung Crows to act

One area they have axed is its new muscle-strengthening training program.

Perhaps we need a full review on what we are doing.

                                Tend to agree.

As good as Adams is as a defender, we might as well focus on fast tracking our young defenders. He's also shown a bit as a key forward.

It's been a real shame that Adams has missed so much footy.
