Thought he was very solid tonight.
I question the parallels between JUH and Sanders, other than attracting criticism for a poor game. Different people and players.
But you are right about supporters, hahaha.

Outstanding win. Great for team spirit. I will not say anything negative about any player. We won. We toughed it out. We found a way to get the job done.

There were some outstanding contributions from Davidson, Khamis, Libba, Lobb, Sanders, Darcy, Dale, Harmes, O'Donnel etc

I could not be happier. Go Dogs!

Happy to bank the 4 points but we have some serious flaws in this team. English is always too worried about what the opposing ruckman is doing instead of attacking the ball himself, and Naughton has had too many games now where he's had absolutely no influence. He never leads aggressively and demands the ball...he just hovers around the forward line and always tries to take pack marks. These are the types of players you need to lift when we're having a tough game. Davidson and Kennedy were massive in that last quarter though so I guess that's a massive positive.

He was excellent in the 2nd half. Quiet first but good players find a way.

Agree. There was a wall of Biggs moment in last qtr. in our F50. Bevo will highlight that for sure.

            Our day will come

We must be a great team and a great club and we must be lucky to witness our greatness.
              I believe so.

Also....I have some serious concerns about some of Bevo's tactics....Liam Jones played for Carlton and no doubt spent a lot of time on Curnow during training, match sims etc....so I just don't understand the logic in playing Buku on him from the start. Furthermore, why does he persist on putting Darcy in as the second ruck when he's our most threatening forward by a significant margin. Get Naughton in there early when he's having a stinker so he can get a bit of touch and feel like he's in the game. He did it last week against Collingwood and he actually had an influence...

How about some positives and not concentrate on the negatives. We won without Bont, Treloar, Jammara, Weightman

Love your contribution yourmate, but whilst Timmy had a couple of poor moments and like many had a very down first half. He had a good second half and was significant when it counted. That was a great win, against a team that came out desperate for a win. It was bloody hot, and we've come off a tough game against the Pies.
Given the cattle we're missing, we could've lamented another honorable loss, after getting jumped, but we ran them down, and it was every bloke who lifted when it counted.

Great to see our Prez and JUH at the game .
Davidson great pick up , Dolan came into it well . He has poise and a bit of elusiveness.
O’Donnell just has something , Sanders he seems to do nothing then come good in last qtrs .
Khamis was good and Jones was quiet but did some things that needed to be done and will get better for the run .
Darcy you can’t hold him a full game .
as much as we pin Naughton he is making it to contests heaps , which if your not having a good day he is still competing.
Kennedy on Cripps was a great move. Libba when you get to that much ball you will stuff up a couple which you tend to remember more than the good things .
English I thought was very competitive.
In all I think it was one of those games of attrition and not highlights .

Just because he has knowledge of him and indeed might be a good matchup, it may not suit what we're trying to achieve in other areas. Buku had a great night too.

I’ll take an ugly win any day over a spirited loss.
