McNeil goal was it. 'That finish was outrageous, and the play before it was awesome, just real hunger and aggressiveness without any real clean footy, just efforts to get the result. Perfect contender for the "THIS" thread.

The tackle is probably runner up.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

He is annoying the crap out of opposition teams. As long as he keeps making contributions like he has thus far this season then that is exactly what we need him to keep doing.
he has to keep backing it up though

Definitely. Carlton were just one easy mark and spring off half back away from a goal, or just one rebound out of a contest at defensive fifty and spring for a goal. Enter Bailey Dale to take away both scenarios......and then not blaze away, rather kick to advantage out of traffic. Inspiring stuff.
              TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

A lot of moments and the buys all had one. 3 standouts for mine
                1. Wests goal going into 3/4 time. I recon it was just what Bevo needed to give one last motivation speech.
                2, Naughts
                3, Dale.
                BB.

Looking forward - Naughton, Darcy and JUH. It will be the envy of everyone.

Agree with the Dale nomination from a few astute posters here.

He took a while to get going but efforts like that are a party of his game and when we needed it, he didn’t let us down. .

Dale's effort was outstanding as was McNeil's tackle.
Naughton's goal was full of merit. He had such a dirty night and needed the mind of a Zen master to block out what had gone down previous to the spotlight being shone right on him to step up - and he did! Well done.

I would go with Libba's front on spoil in the goal square, not giving away a free and forcing a point. It resulted in us getting the ball back via the kick back into play. Not sure who the Carlton player was.

4 minutes to go, Naughton has just kicked a goal to put us in front, we win the centre clearance and Matt Kennedy skies the ball to the wing. Sam Davidson holds space for the drop of the ball, keeps Ollie Hollands out of it, and takes a great contested mark.

That was a big moment. I think Davidson probably had 6 or 7 touches in the last five minutes? His running capacity late in the game was influential.

To be honest it was probably Dale’s effort but no way I was going to let Lachie’s effort go without a new nomenclature to go with McSteal.
