Need a significant lift from Naughty, English and West. Even though we have been winning we have had many play well below their best and these three need to do better.

Love seeing Jones and Lobb on the team sheet, I just feel that little more confident going into games, I wonder if JOD and Buku is the right profile for a fast track in Perth?

To go 3-1 would be unbelievable....

The international news story of 1879 had been the heroic death of Prince Eugene Louis Napoleon, the ‘Prince Imperial’ and heir to the French throne, when ambushed by Zulu warriors during the Anglo-Zulu war in Africa. .

They haven't had a good start to the season. Lost by 78 to Geelong, lost to Swans at home and beat West Coast. I think we have a good chance.

It'd be great to get a jump on them, stop the feral crowd and put them on the back foot.
                FWIW:
Optus Stadium's field of play measures 165m x 130m, while the MCG's is 160m x 141m, meaning Optus Stadium is slightly longer but narrower than the MCG.
About the same as the old Western Oval, before it was shrunk.

If we can stop them scoring from turnover we have a big chance.
I'm not super confident tbh their midfield is very strong and ours is depleted.
Libba, Richards and Kennedy have their work cut out for them.
I do think we can exploit them on the fat side wing with Davidson v Sharp. Thats out route to goal.

I think I could post that about any game we are involved in, however.

The old western oval was 183 x 129. I think length wise it was only second to vfl park (which can rot in hell).

Forecast to be 29 degrees today.

Really hoping English can nullify Jackson and take some marks around the ground. Big test for Davidson to see if he can back up his great match last week.

Marvel is 159.5 meters by 128.8 meters, so not too far off Optus
