I don't know what you want. As far as I can tell my opinion has been pretty consistent:
    • It's a seemingly risky move for re-injury
    • There's a good chance he's not going to be able to run out a full AFL match without having played a match in nearly a year (especially in the heat)
    • the medical staff and coaches know more than me
    • I'm happy for him to prove me wrong
I don't see what other interpretation there is there aside from 'prove me wrong by playing well.' And even then that doesn't mean I can't have my opinion that it's the kind of move we shouldn't make even if it pays of on this occasion. If you can't handle that then so be it. It's a forum where people share opinions. Just because I disagreed with yours doesn't mean you have to take it personally.

As good a career jj has had I reckon he is one of the very few players that is unlucky about coming in the game to early for the type of player he is. A young jj right now would be electric in how footy is played at the minute. Speed and penetrating kicking are king at the minutes.

I'm surprised he's straight in, although he moved well on the track.

Game load is so different. Let's hope he doesn't break down.

If I go off the training reports he hasn't completed a lot of full sessions so it does seem to be a rushed selection.
He could have played half a game last week at Werribee but probably wasn't ready.
We are conservative with our player management so I'm sure he's good to go.

Is this a bit of a vote of non confidence in Gallagher? Rather roll the dice with JJ

Good on JJ, stoked he is back, hope it holds.
We look desperate back there for players to get the ball on motion quickly, and take ground.

I think it is 100% a blight on Gallagher and Duyrea and it should be, they have contributed nothing so far.

Would like to see Freijah settle down back again for a few months, for our structure and for his development.

I tend to agree, but with JJ and Cleary back this week (unless Cleary is the sub which I doubt) that seems unlikely this week.

I'm also very surprised given his injury history.

Fingers crossed it works out ok.

I get the risk but feel we are a bit compromised at the moment.

The way the game is being played these days, I think 'carrying' someone is a bigger liability than ever. Nowhere to hide with all the running. I think the biggest risk you can take these days is playing a younger player in who will really struggle to be competitive. I don't mean competitive in terms of trying but being able to get to and/or influence contests.

I think Gags' effort but really think he struggles to contribute. Looking at last Sunday night, I think we were crying out for more mature/smarter players.

All this does is show how little your opinion is worth.
You only replied to back to me to try to prove me wrong and it wasn’t here. You can’t even acknowledge that.

I’m happy they made the right call on him. He probably should have been dropped earlier this season or late season.
Last week came on as the sub then fluffed his moment. Not saying it cost us the game but you can’t continue to ignore the mistakes.

I tend to agree, we all love JJ he's always going to be a Bullgod but geez, it's a risky move imo coming straight back in, bald move absolutely and a fit and firing JJ helps the side immensely.

With JJ, I acknowledge I have no idea where his actual fitness level is at. So I can't really say if it's the right call.

My main point is how big a liability it is to carry a young player (well any age but young guys get in for development etc). Having players who struggle to run all game, aren't physically strong enough in contests, display immaturity in bigger moments etc are just a massive risk. We are just more okay with it as fans as fans generally just are okay with whatever with young players who have played a small amount of games.

JJ isn't replacing a solid contributor. He is replacing someone who isn't really contributing.
