      1. English vs Voss in the last quarter, English is not a ruckman. In last 2 mins he could not hit to our advantage
      2. We still can't concentrate for 5 mins in a game.
      3. We still dont' have fwd craft. McNeil can't mark as a leading forward. No one at the drop of the ball when kick forward

        1. JOD has shown a bit as a forward but I think he should be playing as a defender. Jones isn't the player he was and we need some young quality to develop here. If we want to play Buku, it should be as a forward or only against certain opposition.

        2. Darcy might be the best player in the game already. Kicks 5 and takes 11 marks. He's an absolute freak of nature. It makes Naughtons performances and Marra's disinterest even more disappointing.

        3. Sadly I think we are just a 6-10 ranked side. Bont and Weightman would clearly help, but we lack a bit of overall quality to contend. It's a shame Treloar isn't younger and that we don't have a fit and younger JJ. We're in an interesting position.

1.. Bont, Treloar, Weightman, Marra - and we would be undefeated
          2. JOD is a backman not a forward
          3. DElivery into F50 didn't help the forwards

            1. McNeill is tough. Can't believe he got up after a couple of the massive hits he took - Luke Ryan marking contest, Alex Pearce crunching tackle.
            2. The concern over Sanders is misplaced. An outstanding game tonight and his finishing is excellent.
            3. Naughton struggles as the second banana in the F50. He has to play high up the ground like last year.

Good call on McNeil . He is tough and resilent. I think he will get better with more games. I just hope he can add some sticky hands to his marking.

Naughton needs to be free running, high forward like a Riewold and Richo( in his last year). He is athletic enough to do.

If Davidson can add some marking and beef up in the preseason he will be very valuable as a marking option on the wing.

1 - Our small forwards, despite having moments and games, just still cannont be relied upon
2 - Old habits die hard. We got destroyed in the 2nd quarter in a very familiar way
                3- Darcy is 1 of 1

                  1. If we allow our opposition freedom of movement after a turnover, they will kill us. We cannot defend against that.

Freedom of movement after a turnover *in open field* is inevitable for ANY team. You can defend after turnovers made in congestion or within a defensive structure but if you turn over the ball in the corridor or at the top of 50, you will almost always let the opposition take the ball down the field.

We need to prevent the turnovers from ever happening rather than pretending that we can somehow have our numbers everywhere.

                      1. Overall, we are a very slow team.

                      2. We could be seeing the end of Jones.

                      3. Regardless of whether we are virtually full strength or missing lots of key players, there is something seriously structurally wrong with the way that we can just be so easily ripped apart, time, and time again.

                        1. Liam Jones has had a long lay off. Write him off at your peril.

                        2. Sanders has it. He is starting to apply what he learnt over the pre season. Can’t wait to see what he brings in 2027 after a couple of extra pre seasons.

                        3. For the love of my sanity can we stop using Tim English in transition. It simply does not work anymore unless he is a stationary target to handball to another runner.
