The moment in the game for me was Bont's bomb from 50 to put us 2 goals up, there was already a momentum shift before that but the team really lifted and blew them away after that.

I think we can forgive JJ.
When the 50 was called he actually slowed to stop but the ump called "play 0n advantage" which required him to continue on.

It was just a terrible call by the ump and JJ just made the most of it.

My moment was the previous Bont involvement with a sublime 50 metre pass to Naughton.

Naughton had just hit the post from a great mark but this was back into it and he nailed the shot to give us the lead for the first time.

Was reminiscent of the pass to Tom Boyd in the 2016 GF.

EVERY Bont moment was a moment last night, as Pendlebury tweeted he must have been playing elsewhere because there was no rust in his game at all, he was enormous.

            This.

Do you remember when Clay did his knee and we ground to a halt? A teammate going down is enough to upset any team, then add that it is arguably your most important player?

The moment was every moment after Sam did his knee. The group showed maturity, resilience and mental toughness to put it aside, adjust and get the job done.

Bonus points to Sam who wore a mask as best he could and set about putting the team first- watching from the bench, attending huddles, getting straight out on the ground afterwards, singing the song. I hope the football media, who are hell bent on muck raking and highlighting and over-emphasising issues, focus on this for some attention this coming week.

              Yeah mannnn. That was epic.

I asked my mate where JJ sits in our best (say or 2010++). He’s definitely built for the modern game. I hope he stays fit. He’s excellent at football.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

Libba chasedown was great. Why Hill turned and tried to brush him off I’ll never know? Weird one.

Bont’s goal an excellent suggestion too.

Also agree THE moment was when I got a text from the club saying Bont was in.

Bont kick to naughton. First time all year a kick was to the advantage of one of our forwards

I first thought what the hell are you doing but in the end he didn’t have much choice. The resulting goal was well deserved after so much time out of the game and would have given him so much confidence in his legs. Was happy for JJ plus Bont can be a dodgy set shot.

My moment was Libba's chase down of Hill, not just because of the moment it was, but because it was typical of the way Tom has responded to leading the team so far this year. In the absence of so many much-fancied players, Libba has shown the way, and our results have been impressive to date. The Easter banner was also a highlight, and I am sure Bont's Easter return didn't disappoint any of his disciples.

Was it a collection of moments or perhaps one you felt had greater significance outside of the actual game's result?.. Or maybe it was a downright gobshite game, with little to crow about...but you know, you're still down to get your post count up
Based on the criteria, it can only be Libba's chase and tackle. It will be one of the season's highlights, featuring on Brownlow night, our Best and Fairest, and for every young player that you should never give up.

Libba's chase down was moment of the year so far - for the entire competition
