The Moment: Rnd 8, 2025 vs Port Adelaide

The moment; the best, most courageous moment that caught your eye in today's game against Port Adelaide.
Was it the moment that told you 'we've got this' or 'we lost this one right here'? Or was it the moment that you went 'wow....that is crazy courage'

Was it a collection of moments or perhaps one you felt had greater significance outside of the actual game's result?.. Or maybe it was a downright gobshite game, with little to crow about...but you know, you're still down to get your post count up

The Bont snap for mine. That completely killed any slight chance of a port comeback. Arguably the Freijah goal may have, but i think Bonts was the final nail.

Ed’s left foot banana on the run.

There was some great finishing but some of the defensive efforts, like JJ and Lobb closing down Butters as he tried to run onto a loose ball at attacking 50, were just as good!

English's third quarter was a pretty big moment, although he still lost the hitouts

Lemmon called it out in the gameday thread but Harmes in particular had some real good defensive moments too.

It still sticks in the craw a little to admit it, but he's looking like a more and more astute pickup with each week.

Funnily enough my moment was when we were down 14 to 6 and getting absolutely blitzed in the middle. Bevo made some moves - I believe Libba went to Butters and we stemmed the tide. Going into qtr time pretty much even was crucial.

Yep. That’s mine too. Libba quelled Butters, big coaching win.

Bevo in his presser spoke about Tim being stung by Sweet having a good game against him last time.

Tim set himself for this. He was everywhere. Passion, energy and relentless.

That was the moment for me. Timmy wanting to destroy Sweet.

Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

Joel Freijah goal. Answered Port's first goal of the second half and got the crowd going. What a gem.

That was it for me as well.

Freija's goal for me. Made the trip with two mates celebrating 50 years of watching dogs together. Friday night won a motza on the pokies, president's lunch, then dogs "Tear Apart" Port. Life is good. Can't wait to watch the replay!!@

Tim has had a good month anyway but we need him like that all the time not just when his pride has been stung. He is more than capable of it as he showed.

About two minutes before 3 quarter time, when we were up by 70 odd, I realised we were going to be kicking with the wind in the last quarter.
We had the game wrapped at that point, but it felt great nonetheless.
