The Moment: Rnd 9, 2025 vs Gold Coast

The moment; the best, most courageous moment that caught your eye in tonight's game against Gold Coast.
Was it the moment that told you 'we've got this' or 'we lost this one right here'? Or was it the moment that you went 'wow....that is crazy courage'

Was it a collection of moments or perhaps one you felt had greater significance outside of the actual game's result?.. Or maybe it was a downright gobshite game, with little to crow about...but you know, you're still down to get your post count up

Yes totally agree Naughton was so disappointing from a senior guy. He had a poor game and didn’t take his moment
        BB.

Looking forward - Naughton, Darcy and JUH. It will be the envy of everyone.

When Yankee Hotel Foxtrot said we were cooked

But I agree with Hujsh that Naughton miss was telling

Naughton trying to take on the entire suns team and being the recipient of a stacks on sun sandwich.
Really has terrible footy IQ. That miss from basically the goal square was nearly as bad.

              Davidson's goal.
Some were writing him last week as being tired but he finished game strongly this week

Astro missing from one metre, that would have put us a goal up. After that they kicked three goals in short time and gapped us. That was the game.

You'll have to watch another 1000 games of footy before you'll see another miss akin to Naughton's.
I thought he was coming back into form last week but he was way off. Does he know where to lead? Or is our delivery so poor? It's a combination, I think.

Honestly I thought Naughton's set shot miss and his decision not to handball to Davidson before taking on four guys, were worse than the hurried off balance snap.

I think his mindset coming in to the game was that Sam Collins was going to beat him. We whinged about Collins tactics a few years ago and I suspect he was in his head before the game even began.

Lachie McNeil's miss late in the fourth was essential for us to catch them, but was a tough shot.

My positive moment was probably when Bont kicked the goal to bring it to 3 points - I had almost turned it off about 10 minutes earlier, because we looked out on our feet. Great resilience to turn it around.

My moment was a four minute moment kicking four quick goals in exhausting conditions late in the game to get within 3 points. Awesome to see younger players like Davidson, Sanders and McNeil adopt Libba, Ed and Bont’s tone to drag over the line by sheer effort.

                            Nah bro.

This was worse and earlier the same day.

More of an In Bruges guy?

You would think Davidson wouldn't be hard to miss with the blond hair. Naughton had to give that one. Also the Bont was guilty in not giving off to Sanders when he ran pass wanting the ball streaming to goal right in front 40 metres out.
