The power and certainty in the turn and kick.
He is human and can get the yips from a set shot but Bont's instinctive kicking is as good as it gets, like Dougie and with Bailey Dale we have a pair of cruise missiles launchers.

I would say the first quarter, kicking 7.3 vs 0.3 .

I am going to watch the whole first quarter again.

Really enjoyed Essendon staining their paints in the second.

Hard to decide on one (with those mentioned above all in the mix). But I wanted to shout out the English tap back on the goal line- super high IQ play in another great game from a player that has often been a whipping boy.

Im greedy , i had two occastions .
1ST one was Bonts opening goal , just took the ball from the pack and said move iv got this , Beautiful goal .
2ND one was Westys goal , when he put up the dont argue sign with so much confidence and power , he is fast becoming one of the premier small forwards in the AFL.

The game was over when we kicked our fourth goal (the VDM extra goal). I turned to those I was with and said 'we're going to make a serious mess of them. They're not in the fight'.

We've seen Essendon give up against us a few times over the years. Them and St Kilda - in recent years - you can tell early that they throw in the towel when we bring our strongest footy.

I was sitting up on lev 3. In the 3rd quarter when essendon equalised for a short period, you could see how good our run was to get numbers back on turnover. We already had the defense organized and the mids would run hard to get behind the ball and set the zone up. There was a couple of turnovers where it was evident how hard we would 2way run and out number them. Good signs given we were 10 goals or so ahead at the time.

All the other highlights in the game were fantastic too!
