He is playing really well so whats the gap in his game currently where there is scope for significant improvement?
He is already strong and competitive in the contest, athletic,, can take intercept marks, works well with his team mates and his kicking skills are improving.
He should get better with his consistency and experience but what are areas will he improve on?
I really rate him and it wasn't intended as a knock on him. I think he could join the leadership group in the next 2 seasons

He's just about our #1 KPD now. Feel pretty comfortable whenever he's in a contest.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Thats the key in my opinion , Experience , everything with his game will improve with experiance , he already is a strong mark and that will only improve as he gets stronger and learns how to postion his body in one on one marking contests .
His a very neat kick , but sometimes rushes his kicks , and thats only because of his inexperience , as time goes by and he gets stronger he will realise that he will be able to take a split second longer to deliver the ball with more precision .
He definately is on the right track to being one of the leading KPD in the AFL .

Massive upside considering hasn’t been in it for long, developing nicely week after week.

And Buku. We've got some really adaptable players in our key position stocks. Players who can play at either end of the ground depending on match ups and coverage for form and injury.

It's the best since the early '70s when we had Sandilands, Quinlan, Welsh and Merrington capable of playing at either end

They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Consistency is his improvement, which he can only prove in time. If he puts up an 8-10 week stretch mirroring the last 2 games, he’s an AA consideration

Buku's leap is phenomenal and he is so clean with one grab at a mark.

Most of us rate James highly so with a bit more experience and providing he doesn't get any more head knocks we should be able to extract a bit more polish and poise in his game.
A potential leadership member for our club as well.
