      Their goal kicking was sublime.

My view early was that they pressed extremely aggressively to pressure our handball and the narrow ground rattled us when we turned it over. Simplified second half and the game changed but damage on turnover was already done.

The Buku miss in the third. When Geelong were kicking everything we couldn't afford to blow essentially what was a point blank opportunity for a left footer.

Bailey Dale not filling the space and allowing Cameron to waltz around onto his left for the first goal of the game was an ominous sign. Felt we were just a bit off mentally early, and it came home to roost in the second quarter.
          TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

With that ground turnovers usually are in a dangerous position as it's so narrow. The cats play it so well.
It's the biggest advantage in the modern game.

              Started the flood.
That was so deflating, as soon as the ball left his hand it was obvious the Cats were going to swarm and then whip it down the other end.

We're not good at taking moments.

Needs to change quickly or else we'll remain mid table.

As admirable as we've been in the early part of the year, we've lost to all of the Pies, Lions, Suns and Cats.

                Tonight really stings.

It's simply make or break vs Hawthorn. Lose and for all our efforts we're pretender

Own the moment or fail it. There's nothing in-between from here.

There were a few moments but Bailey Williams turning it over in the 2nd quarter.

The mark over the boundary line.

The moment is obviously the Richards/Khamis non combo, which is made even more a shame because it nullifies the highlight that was Bonts incredible tap to Eds advantage.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

Yes. That was one of many chances we blew in the last quarter. There were others too. McNeil running into goal from the stoppage with space from close range and blowing his lines. McNeil when it was level trying to pass it rather than have a shot from the pocket. JJ having a shot on the run that he is more than capable of burying.

That’s the game isn’t it? On pure stats we put ourselves in a good position to win.

Carlton in round 2 would be saying the same thing about losing to us I imagine. Small margins and we have hit the post 5 times and given 50m penalties away.

The English down the field was there (but he was frustrated after what looked like a wrong decision where he was penalsied for holding the man but it looked like ball) and the Bont 50m was soft as butter. Seriously. Bont never has intent to hur the player and it was a free kick but not a 50m pen.

The goal kicking missed shots was started by Naughton in the first when 1 metre out he hits the post - 17 behinds all up to Geelong's 7

The Bailey Smith love fest by the media I was ready to turn it off before it even started.

The set shot miss in the first from Naughton. It showed we were just not switched on

we missed so many handballs that brought pressure and cost turnovers early
                                BB.

Looking forward - Naughton, Darcy and JUH. It will be the envy of everyone.
