The Moment: Rnd 14, 2025 vs St Kilda

The moment; the best, most courageous moment that caught your eye in tonight's game against St Kilda.
Was it the moment that told you 'we've got this' or 'we lost this one right here'? Or was it the moment that you went 'wow....that is crazy courage'

Was it a collection of moments or perhaps one you felt had greater significance outside of the actual game's result?.. Or maybe it was a downright gobshite game, with little to crow about...but you know, you're still down to get your post count up

I loved Lobb's effort to spoil late in the 3rd, when we were already 8 goals up. Says a lot about commitment.
And then again late again in the last when it was well and truly dusted he made a lot of effort to get to a contest that others with such a lead might not have ran to get to.

Jack Higgins playing on to snap 30m out dead in front. Cheers dickhead.

The Saints fan pinging a hammy at the coin toss was a bad omen for them.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

I know everyone is saying he's the presumed AA small forward, but really? He loves a goal and loves running towards goal, but I'm not sure he does enough in enough areas to warrant AA? I'd prefer someone like West before Higgins, but I don't think West is yet AA level yet.

Nearly fell off my chair when commentary said Higgins was “the ultimate team player” as if it’s jumping on a live grenade to run out the back 5 times a week.

"Jack Higgins is so smart with his positioning to get out the back there"...he just sits out the back and hopes for an easy turnover goal? Offers little to nothing to his team defensively. He has to be in the AA conversation because of his goal tally, but I think by the end of the season it will be a pretty short conversation.

Freijah using his foot to pick the ball up then delivering long. Just a little reminder of the class our blokes have that St Kilda just lack.

The moment for me was the second quarter onslaught. Finally the umpire saw Bont being constantly held on to, got a free and we went forward and kicked a goal - from then on Saints couldn't get near us.

He must have been watching the Munster Final in the hurling this week just gone. Looked like a move straight from the GAA. Terrific bit of skill.

Nice comparison SOS. It's really exciting how good he could become.

The moment for me was Dales three or 4 runs off half back in the first quarter. Set the tone and I knew we were switched on tonight

how did they not send anyone to him.

Looking forward - Naughton, Darcy and JUH. It will be the envy of everyone.
