You are entitled to your view but when I take a closer look

They beat us by 6 (and we were well undermanned)

They had a big win over Brisbane at the Gabba when Brisbane were off a 5 day break from playing us in 35 degree heat. Have a look at how badly all teams performed off hot days on shortened breaks compared to their opponents around gather round.

They lost to Geelong

They did beat Freo in Perth (14 pts) but all the match stats indicate that Freo should have won comfortably.

They beat Adelaide at the G by 10

They had a big win over a lack lustre Hawthorn

They beat Melbourne by a solitary point.

They have had a lot in their favour and sit atop the ladder, but it doesn't scream standout to me.

Collingwood don't standout to me either. Where were they last two seasons and were considered aging and lost their mojo.
This season they are on top but it's early days.
I don't feel they have our measure so don't think they are the standouts or anyone is now.
The point is we have a lifetime opportunity now.
