    Cody Weightman

I’m sure it’s incredibly unlikely he’d ever see this, but I just really want to put out there that I hope Cody is doing ok. The mental toll that this must be taking on him would be immense. If memory serves, I believe this is now the 4th or 5th surgery on this knee issue. I could be way off the mark but it’d be getting close to the stage of worrying if he’ll ever be able to play again. From all reports he is still providing positivity and energy to the boys and it really speaks volumes to his character because what he’s gone through this year would be one of the hardest things to go through. Love ya Flea, I hope things turn around for you

With you all the way PB - he is such a great person to have on the team with his positivity . Hopefully when he is back he will still be that big smiling positive player.

Funny thing, Palmy, I just logged in to look for a Cody thread. I think he is a very resourceful and well rounded character and saw him recently on TV post another game and he seemed his life loving self. Plus his family seem great.
My concern is his knee and I was wanting to know about it's condition, which I believe is congenital.
Yet he flies for those marks borderline reckless.

Cody Weightman’s run of bad luck continues. He’s suffered a nasty infection to his troublesome knee and will go under the knife again this week.

Wretched luck for Cody let's hope he can maintain his positive attitude.

So the infection must be to an open wound so surgery. I'd have thought the precision of a surgeon would prevent that. Surely the cut had healed by now.

Infection does not require an open wound.

It is a real issue in a significant number of cases after surgery.

Thank you, that is explains it, I've escaped the scalpel so far but am aware of golden staph.

The poor bugger can't take a trick.

Hope he gets the chance to remind the competition of how good he is next year.
