WESTERN Bulldogs midfield pair Daniel Cross and Matthew Boyd have signed new long-term deals this week. In a coup for the undefeated Bulldogs going into today's important game against North Melbourne, it is believed the pair have committed to stay for another three seasons.
That locks Cross and Boyd, both 25, to the Bulldogs until the end of 2011, meaning the two players cannot be targets for the new Gold Coast team.
Cross is in the top 10 for disposals in the AFL this season, with 209.
He was an emergency for the Dream Team in the AFL Hall of Fame match.
Boyd ranks third for possessions for the Bulldogs with 187, behind Cross and Adam Cooney.
