Been a fairly average 2nd half. Look like just going through the motions. Doing enough to get it done, but will need to improve some of these kicking turnovers against syd on that small ground.
I will never see #16 the same!!

We only have to stop Lynch and we can’t , he is either kicking them or setting them up.

Why Is it laughable ? You can’t control a game for 4qtrs
I think the 15 goals to 3 goals in 3qtrs is laughable

if you’re a team looking to play finals against the team that’s 17, you shouldn’t be nearly outscored in the 2nd half. When you have the foot on the throat in the first half.

we have a lot of work to do

I agree we have work to do but wow we wrapped this game up by half time , our percentage is huge anyway and we have a 5 day break coming up.

Just for the record it was 11 goals to 7 goals our way after halftime . So I think you went way too early .

Bont needed a game like that just be going this year( for his high standards) after an outstanding return against the Saints initially. You got to love watching him kick inside 50 and with Treloar out and Darcy back I'm really keen to see him play more midfield minutes today looked a perfect balance.

English is starting to really build nicely put his body in the hole a few times today and finished off his work.

I'm still concerned with our small defenders, our ability to defend the ground and our bottom few do fall away particularly against the best and next week provides another challenge against the swans we really need to win game like that to continue to build momentum.

I didn’t say outscored, I said nearly outscored. But if you want to pin point that, I’ll let you take that as a win.

Gee ,its a pretty flat match day thread after a 79 point victory. There was a lot to like fellow Bulldogs fans. We saw a masterclass from our captain, Sam Darcy snagging five from some incredible marking (and also managing a smother), continued signs that Josh Dolan and Cooper Hynes are going to be good acquisitions, outrageously freak things from Joel Freijah, not to mention Ed Richards class and bursts of speed. The renaissance of Rory Lobb continues. even perennial whipping boy Lachie McNeil kicked two!

I know we haven’t got that ‘scalp’ but the guys can’t do much more than what they did today. I saw lots of desperation and commitment all over the ground well into the final quarter. We are not Carlton imploding after dropping a winnable game, we aren’t West Coast going nowhere, we have one of the GOAT in our team and just watching Sam Darcy is worth turning up for each week.. I get that the opposition aren’t high quality, still, it was a professional performance and an emphatic win ( god almighty it was bloody cold).

Plus the Bont has broken the record for most wins as Captain for the club.

Entertaining afternoon at the footy. Bont masterclass. Darcy doing Darcy freakish things. English destroyed Nank.

Just a professional win tonight. Did what we needed to do. Blew them apart in the second quarter. After that, I’m sure everyone is managing themselves for a five day turnaround.

Allowing them to score five goals in the last quarter was disappointing but I get it. It’s irrelevant. Why punish yourself when you have four points and it’s a five day break.

Four points. We move on. We have bigger fish to fry this season.

                            p.s. Absolutely gutted for Treloar

Hopefully all the positive vibes are missing because a lot of us were at the game. It was the first decent timeslot for my son all year, and great to see lots of other kids/families there for Kidzmania. As much as our broadcast friendly fixture is probably good for revenue and sponsors, I'd love to see us get a few more 'family friendly' games to build the next generation.

It was an emphatic win. After halftime we took the foot off quite a bit, and still won by 80 points!

We noticed on the TV loads of kids there today, and it was awesome to see the next Gen of Doggies fan make a wonderful memory.
