The Moment: Rnd 15, 2025, vs Richmond

The moment; the best, most courageous moment that caught your eye in this afternoon's game against Richmond.
Was it the moment that told you 'we've got this' or 'we lost this one right here'? Or was it the moment that you went 'wow....that is crazy courage'

Was it a collection of moments or perhaps one you felt had greater significance outside of the actual game's result?.. Or maybe it was a downright gobshite game, with little to crow about...but you know, you're still down to get your post count up

The superb kick from Bont which led to a very well judged mark from Rhylee West was a highlight for me.

I just came to write the same thing, but as you've already rightly grabbed it, I'll shoot for Bont's sublime solo finish just before we dished that up, from a similar inside 50 entry whilst on the move.

Bonts kick to West and his kick to Buku. They are examples of the level of skill that gets taken for granted I think. Superb.

Cooper Hynes off the pack on the full below the knees in a perfect crumb with a beautifully composed finish.

That's the quality I want to see in a first rounder who's having to cobble together a path forward in a competitive team without a natural spot for his talents.
          TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

There was a moment when Ed Richards copped a hospital handpass off half-back and was about to get absolutely crunched. He not only took possession and took the hit, but he managed to free his arms and get a pass off the outside of his left foot, while he was simultaneously being tackled to the ground, and hit a teammate on the chest. It was insanely good.

Was great. Adding to that - Dolan riding a heavy bump and still controlling the footy to make sure it went to advantage. Hardness in a young guy, in a team that hasn’t been hard enough, great sign.

Dolan's spoil of Nankervis and follow up which Bont goaled from was a moment worth savouring

The moment or me was the opening goal - I knew we were going to thrash them

We were challenged early in the game and I was beginning to get a bit worried. Then Matty Kennedy laid that dogged tackle at the back of the centre square, holding the ball and believe it resulted in a goal.

Matt Kennedy sitting in the hole to take a mark before handballing to Richards for a goal. Watching it on TV doesn’t do justice to how courageous it was.

When Aden Yze assigned Noah "Curfew" Balta the task of stopping Sam Darcy.

Balta was so overmatched that by the last quarter he would just grab Darcy and hold on for dear life as the ball came into our forward line - and the umpires just ignored it.

I'm Rollin' with Dolan. I really get a good vibe on him. I see a kid who has shown glimpses, in multiple facets, of possessing a high footy IQ and a rare ability to make late changes of decisions/ without degradation of skill execution. I see him being a top tier elite AFL player in a year or two, maybe an eventual replacement for a Bailey Dale role or wing role?

It's weird, I don't think he's had a single moment (something highlight reel worthy i guess) across all these games, nothing he has done in and of itself is demonstrative that yes, he has "it", and yet I (and it seems many others) are completely sold.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

Im with you Bornadog , that opening goal by Bontempelli making a statement saying i may have been beaten last week but im back step aside , i knew from that moment Bont was going to carry this side to victory .
