So do we think its more likely he'll leave than stay yet?

Everything he has said does not lead me to think he will not sign. He said a few weeks ago he was now ready to start discussions and we have had two weeks of celebrating his and Libba's 250 - so I guess he didn't want to take the shine off those. You would think it is very close now

That's a fairly simple way of looking at it Chef.
Are there any signs or genuine rumors that would suggest he's looking to leave?

I generally don't worry about supporters with a half empty approach as the club hasn't quite delivered on it's potential but a few years back that wasn't you in the slightest.
Unless I read something contrary I'll go with KWW thoughts who believes he's going to sign on.

I guess tbh I fell out of love with Bevo a while back and I'm not optimistic at all about where we are heading as a team. Whole lot of rinse and repeat going on.

Can you post KWW thoughts to give me some hope?

Are you linking a perceived delay in Bont re-signing and assuming that it's on Bevo without anything of substance to support it?
It sort of makes sense if you aren't supportive of Bevo but to me it's a bit of a long bow to draw otherwise.

I get where you are coming from in terms of the 'rinse and repeat' part of our recent history as it's a frustrating ride but does it really all just rest on Bevo?

I've heard both Kylie at a Presidents function and Ameet on the radio interview talk about Bont signing on again and they don't appear to be concerned about it.
I'm probably of the opinion that if players want to go then just lets get the best possible deal and move on quickly.
Now Bont isn't your normal quality player and he means so much more to the club than most others but until some rumblings start I'm not wasting a lot of energy on it.

If you listen to Marcus in today's Milestone presentation, he is overflowing with his endorsement of Bevo.
I certainly don't mind Bevo being held accountable for the things he can control but do we really need to conjure up scenarios that blame him because a contract hasn't been signed in the time frame suits nervous supporters?
