The Moment: Rnd 16, 2025 vs Sydney

The moment; the best, most courageous moment that caught your eye in tonight's games against Sydney.
Was it the moment that told you 'we've got this' or 'we lost this one right here'? Or was it the moment that you went 'wow....that is crazy courage'

Was it a collection of moments or perhaps one you felt had greater significance outside of the actual game's result?.. Or maybe it was a downright gobshite game, with little to crow about...but you know, you're still down to get your post count up

I thought noooo, when Khamis didn’t take his 30 secs & his kick wasn’t marked by us.

Then I thought noooo when Swan’s player was kicking a gimme goal with 1 min 30 secs to go.

But I’ll give my moment votes to the composure shown by Sanders, the bravery of Branble taking the game on & the brilliance of Frejiah.

i also think Bont’s goal to stem the Heeney show was pretty important too.
    Josie :)

    Our day will come
    And we'll have everything.
    We'll share the joy
    Just like '54 again.

Davidson's smother late in the last was massive for me. Lots of decisive moments in that last 10 mins.

Bontempelli's goal in the 3rd from our if nowhere really stood out to me.

Yes agree we had two smoothers in one play and that was the game down
            BB.

Looking forward - Naughton, Darcy and JUH. It will be the envy of everyone.

Davidson smothering McLean's snap. Massive moment would have put them 10 points up. They never got that far in front but that was their big opportunity.

His kick to Freijah, who snapped truly was outrageously good too.

Honestly, I’ll go with Naughton’s goal kicking. He’s prone to miss those. I’ve been hard on him (and probably justified) but I thought tonight he looked competent and competitive. He looked settled and composed in his set shots. Hopefully the turning point for him going fwd.
I will never see #16 the same!!

That was an amazing piece of play. Started by Bramble weaving his way through traffic. Hitting Bont who then takes off and kicks into space seeing Freijah busting his gut to where Bont kicked it. Then bang. Goal.

Classic piece of play that lifted the team. Definite Moment.

Freijah’s last goal when he ran into the boundary for no reason at all and then did a kick I still haven’t quite figured out. How did we get so lucky?

I noticed that too. A very good sign.

I thought Bailey Williams at the very end was very cool. I think he might have copped a whack, but still managed a side stsidend a clearing kick.

But yes, the Davidson smother was critical.
