Harmes would be an automatic inclusion but coming back from a severe flu thus would probably struggle. Good move to have a run in the 2s if he is ok to play. Agree on the bench but it is last chance saloon for some.

I’m okay with Harmes going through the 2s just meant I’d only have dropped Davo if he was fit personally.

Yeah not sure how many chances some of these guys need though, would much rather use the opportunity to see if there’s anyone who can grasp the chance to offer something for a run at our best side going into finals ie Buku back as 3rd tall fwd (after a near BOG game), Sellwood or even Jacques

I guess I'd rather see our bench weaker than some key lines in the actual 18. Clutching at straws I know.

Yeah don’t disagree, talk of us having the best list in the comp is just ridiculous - although I think a bit of it is self inflicted, but I’ve said enough about what I think of team selection. Been like this for years and never gonna change so I just have to deal with it haha

Realistically that bench next week should be:

Harmes, Davo, Sellwood, Buku, VDM/JJ and that’s pretty reasonable and well and truly comparable with most top 8 sides I’d say

the emg line up is better than the bench ffs, it’s just poor selection. Dunno why we keep making these mistakes, not that it should matter this week but ****. Get it right.

Its been last chance saloon for quite a while imo. Groundhog day. Terrible bottom 6 in reality but we are bereft of options.

From yesterday’s training run, it would appear Baker will play wing as he trained with the mids and not the defenders as he usually does.
