      1. Never play Poulter, great kid but does nothing
      2. Defence can be scary bad, not killing the ball down the line, allow soft spills, clearly are biggest issue and hard to see a resolution in 2025.
      3. Naughton played like a real leader tonight and seems to be getting his mojo back. BONUS ONE: libba was inspirational!

        1. We need another big bodied defender with experience down back.

        2. When won well but were very underwhelming at times. We can't dish that up in the Finals

        3. Naughton is back.

          1. Libba and Naughts awesome
          2. Darce gets umpired differently. Umpires pretty poor in general tonight
          3. No pressure but we need Michael Sellwood to be a player this year. Don’t think Coffield or Duryea are going to get it done. Hope Liam Jones still has some quality left too

            3. The concern shown for Tristan Xerri by Tim English and Tom Liberatore was commendable, well done guys.
            2. At times Lachlan Bramble can turn fumbling into an artform.
            1. I suggested Duryea and Poulter should be selected, I was wrong, neither will cut it against top sides.

              1. Confirmation we are the real deal and have time to fine tune, possibilities for VFL players;
              2. Darcy is human and our midfield relies on Libba and Richards too much;
              3. Frieijah and West appeared like front runners not able to impact reliably.

                1. The pressure from Bont and Libba was enormous tonight - both had ten tackles and really lead by example
                2. Darcy needs some muscle, he was easily out bodied in marking contests and dropped the ball a few times
                3. Great to see the Old Naughton - could have had 7 goals

                  Teams are applying body contact below his waist (Darcy) and it’s almost like he’s being tunnelled every contest. I hope we have a chat to the AFL about it. It’s dangerous.
                  Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

                    Darcy did some uncharacteristic things last night - a couple of fumbles, one of which turned a certain goal into a goal up the other end - 12 point turnaround. We simply have to hit him up on the lead more . He is unstoppable then. He is being checked and chopped and umpires have to show some cojones and pay free kicks. Football is not a handicap game. Just because you're tall doesn't mean umpires need to give the defenders a leg up by ignoring their infringements.

                      1. We are not premiership material with the defence combination that played last night.
                      2. Bont can have an ‘out of form’ patch. Because he is Bont, he still impacted and his tackling was superb but in the last two weeks, he has actually…fumbled.
                      3. Cooper Hynes has “it” and is a deserving top 10 pick, and showing more each week.

                        1. Naughton is back. I was really worried there for a while. But he is back confidently leaping at the footy and importantly holding his mark. So good to see. He also looks stronger than ever. When he is up and running, he is a difficult match up. No doubt Darcy getting so much attention is helping him.

                        2. Everyone loves Libba. Dogs fans. AFL fans. Past players. The current players. The media. Everyone loves Libba. His dad was only loved by the hardcore Dogs fans. But everyone loves Tom. What a cracking person he is. I also love him.

                        3. Matthew Kennedy just does the basics of football so well. Makes tackles. Hits contests hard. Strong overhead. Takes his marks. Just love watching him do his stuff every week. He didn't hit the scoreboard last night, but still had 25 touches and whenever he goes near I feel comfortable that everything will be OK. He is not scintilating, but he just does everything well.

                          19 years old and literally won us a game last week against a much better side btw. Front runner be for real.

                            1. The old guard won us that game. Bont and libba both game high 10 tackles. Naughton very imposing. He timing looks back.

                            2. Sanders went at 87% efficiency. Looks really composed. I liked his defensive effort with a tackle in the goal square to save a goal.

                            3. Whilst Naughton seems to have found his timing again, JOD may have lost his. Reckon he spoiled a teammates contested Mark a handful of times. He's been great this season, hopefully it's a one off.

                              1. We were lucky North had so many out and we played a low positioned team. Having Poulter Bramble Coffield Duryea Hynes McNeil Garcia and VDM all in same team wont win games against the big boys. Freijah Odonnell and West did very little. So it was left to a small group to get the win. Lucky and not convincing
                              2. Forward line still no crumbers. Darcy had an offnight except for last qtr. If it wasnt for Naughton and the mids hitting the scoreboard in first 3 quarters we had no others in forward line getting the job done. VDM one in first minute then nothing, West one in last Hynes and Poulter. Teams will scrag Darcy so the ball needs to be swallowed up by the remaining forwards. Whilst we won the game its a huge concern.
                              3. Backline needs help. Need to keep Truck and Dale there. Cannot have Bramble Duryea and Coffield all in the same side ( 1 only). Odonnell and Lobb have looked overwhelmed in past 2 weeks. JJ didnt do much but i thought what he did do was quality.
