The Moment: Rnd 17, 2025 vs North Melbourne

The moment; the best, most courageous moment that caught your eye in tonight's game against North.
Was it the moment that told you 'we've got this' or 'we lost this one right here'? Or was it the moment that you went 'wow....that is crazy courage'

Was it a collection of moments or perhaps one you felt had greater significance outside of the actual game's result?.. Or maybe it was a downright gobshite game, with little to crow about...but you know, you're still down to get your post count up

Personally at half time without a specific moment I felt assured and yes pre-game.
Odd as Dogs supporter perhaps but I can get used to it.

Each time I ripped into Bont, he scored a goal.

From memory he's supposed to sell Arthur's Milkbar and start concentrating of footy again........given Arthur's is just down the road I'll let him know.

        TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

When LDU didnt come back on the ground. Felt like we had one less to contend with and it cost me my multi. So hard for me to let go.

Not sure there was one moment that was worth mentioning where I knew we were home.

I guess at the start of the 4th quarter when we kicked the first quarter, I knew North couldn't come back from that.

Probably Naughton’s goal at the end of the 3rd. It wasn’t enough for a match winning gap, but it felt like breathing room.

Either that or Zurhaar hitting the post on 3/4 time. If he kicks that, they get some real momentum.

Hynes contested mark and well weighed kick to Bont.

The kid finding his way in the game had a really really good moment.

Larkey’s miss at the end of the first. Gave me some comfort in knowing that you don’t miss those if the end of the world is actually happening.

Larkey's missed goal at the end of first quarter was a big moment from my perspective but it was Naughton's ability up forward in the 2nd quarter and kicking some telling goals was the highlight.

Sanders made a good tackle in the goal square to save a goal. They had a little momentum at the time so it was handy. I also liked it because it showed that he is switched on defensively and not just focused on attack.

Sanders also pushed deep into defense to help out the defenders. He's showing some good signs.

When Larkey kicked those 2 quick ones back to back, I said “look out, we are in trouble here. Larkey going to kick 6 of their 6 goals.”

The game was never in doubt.
