    DOGS Scoring Power

A lot of focus on the dog's scoring power, which got me thinking, where is that coming from?
Naughton has been a slow burn, Darcy missed 2 months, etc.
We don't have a third established forward, no Marra, no Weightman, West is having a career year, and good on him, VDM and McNeil are role players at best.
There are, of course, many factors that can go into this, however.

The primary 4 mids, the dogs have taken into each game, have collectively scored 58 goals in 16 games, whilst adding an average of 7.5 Score Involvements each.
That is a staggeringly high amount, and I have done a scan of other teams and years (Can't be bothered going deeper), and I think it might be unmatched, in the analytics era.

    Talk about finding another way.

Sometimes you can clog up your forward line with too many , I think the Juh playing was a problem if you don’t get the delivery right , ever since Juh played we found him and Naughton going the same ball. We have obviously adjusted to solve the problem and Darcy works well with Naughton on this front . I’m sure if Juh comes back in we will have to adjust again but at moment our mids are kicking goals leaving more room for our key forwards as the opposition try to combat our attacking goal kicking mids
    Bring back the biff

Kennedy, Bont & Richards I assume are in an elite goal scoring mid category.

I don't agree Ledge for 2024, yes prior to that but it was sorted out.
