JOD is obviously in his infancy but he just cant impact a contest at this stage so many balls get behind him. Anyone targeting him as the kicker in the defensive half should also be drooped.

Our back half is deplorable. Yeah, we need our forwards and mids to apply pressure, but SOMETIMES the back half just have to win some contests. They can't. It's alarming how bad they are.

That we went into this game with the same setup is poor by the MC. I thought after not picking Jones or Buss we'd see English ruck and run back, but that hasn't been overly noticeable.

We're a 7-10 side until we can fix our back half.

Agree with this..mids have been bad but the old it's always the mids fault is a little grating at times. Lobb was out positioned time and time again. He plays aggressively of course and that's what the coaches want but ffs if you're against a guy who is spanking you do something different.

We brought Buss in against giants to cover their 3 key fwds. It worked well. So why not against walker, Fogarty and Thilthorpe? I don’t get the thinking.

Honestly, has there ever been a worse team for conceding goals in the last minute of a quarter? Totally exasperation.
At this stage, unless we have a huge lift in intensity, I fear the best we can do is play catch up football and get done by 2 or 3 goals.

The best teams have multiple avenues to score. We are all duck and no dinner with centre clearances today. Lucky to be as close as we are to be honest.

If we are going to go with 2 talls, then JOD has to be under pressure to hold his spot. I personally think he's a good 3rd tall but the MC have set the rules of engagement, and JOD just isn't getting it done.
