I agree, Essendon will see this as a winnable game. Goodness knows I hope they are wrong.

Curious to know why you feel this way contrary to all evidence? Is it just traditional Bulldog pessimism?

We are probably the last team poor sides want to play this year, we have been grinding them into the dirt.

I mean Essendon couldn't even manage to put up a decent showing for their supporters against Richmond in a very winnable game. Not sure where any confidence for this game would come from.

Of course we could have an off night and win ugly but I can't see a single thing pointing to that being likely.

A really solid season. 150 games is quite an achievement in the crash and bash world of being a ruckman.

Big achievement for Tim. He has had a very good season. He is not the best tap ruckman in the world but he is very good around the ground. His marking is really good.

Have to win by a big margin to help the % even more than what it is. If we win but not convincingly it will be good in that we get the win but raise more questions on the overall performance.

His running end to end this season has been quietly unreal. I know he has a lot of detractors for his perceived lack of physicality but his work rate has been outstanding. He might be top 5 in the team for hitting up a forward on a lead too. An incredible kick for a ruckman.

I am definitely a traditionalist. Sixty odd years of being a Bulldog supporter will leave you with a permanent pessimism gene.

I know we haven't done it against the top 4 to 6 teams, but I am loving belting other teams. Something we haven't done for many years. That is a hint at what we are capable of.
