It can be a bit demoralising when a lot of the good players choose to go to the same clubs over and over. We are a small fish in a big pond and If we don't land butters it's hard to see us ever getting a player of note through free agency and trade (Treloar was an incredibly unique situation). We really have to be an elite draft and develop program which can be hit and miss (thanks jamarra).

I dont think cash matters a heap to us, we don't have big G games or marquee games to offer, plus we are on the wrong side of Melbourne.

There are just too many better options in Melbourne.
