1 Darcy and Naughton are going to be unstoppable

2 English is at his best when he goes forward and hits the score board

1 Our defence looks better when we don't turn it over 20 times a game

        1. I think we've possibly found our best 22/3 with maybe Harmes and Davidson making a case from here up the ground, Jones and Busslinger may come into play later on

        2. Lachie McNeil's kicking for goal is fixable. He's a left side of foot misser, without quite kicking off his instep which means it either goes straight or right to left. Without taking it too far, aligning right of centre a bit more especially on the run will increase his accuracy by a mile (across general chances) - come at me Twodogs!!!!

        3. Naughton and Darcy are fine together, and we can fit another in given what Poulter and English demonstrated tonight

Lucky 4th - You know how they get the clean cut footballers buying shit from Cash Converters on the ads, I reckon they should do a version where the dodgy ****s like Clayton Oliver, Mitch Robinson and a few others are selling shit at Cash Converters. Arguing over the price, mates outside in the car asking if they need help to get the deal done.........Marcus shopping isn't believable without the flipside.
        TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

          1. Cleary, Baker, Bramble, Garcia, Poulter early, and McNeil as the game went on, just look like they've grown and are more confident in their willingness to try and execute to game plan. Cleary in particular is a cased in point - he has gone from mega risk averse take the safe (but often non-productive) outlet disposal option to owning the role and taking the riskier - but game plan compliant and score unlocking move more often. He noticeably is more willing to take on the tackler. He will get caught, but as long as he evolves to get his decision making right as to when to go for it and when not - he will thrive.

          2. I don't know I learned much else, other than it never fails to make me feel happy beating the Plastics.

          3. JJ isn't cooked.

1 - When our bottom 6 contribute like tonight we aren't losing many games.

2 - English probably just ended Brigg's career. That was a smashing.

3 - Darcy's legs aren't real. That hyper-extension when he kicked his first goal had me very concerned.

Darcy admitted his knee was very sore after he was tackled in the first

                  1. Tim beaten in the ruck duels but smashed his opponent around the ground - just proves hitouts aren't everything

                  2. Two big forwards are killing the opposition - we are so lucky

                  3. McNeil can play - should have had 5 goals, but hey his contribution was excellent

                    1. Cleary showed composure and dash.

                    2. JJ had his best game for a long time

3 English was in career best form. When he fires, we fire.

After Luke's knee injuries, giraffe Sam's pegs look so vulnerable to me.

                        1. Lobb as second ruck seems to be working better than Darcy. Keeps the structure up forward at all times and it causes havoc with the Giants tonight.

                        2. Our big guys might actually be able to defend. Aerially was so much better. Decisive spoiling when needed, intercepting st the right time. Ground ball was still an issue, just didn’t get inside 50 enough to cause us too much grief.

                        3. Buss needs to throw the little 15m kick out of his tool bag. Multiple times he almost stuffed it and a more switched on opponent would have made us pay. Thought he was ok overall though.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

                          1. I’d enjoy watching the solid development of “Phil” Cleary more if we could find him a partner called Ross and every time he hand passes to him the crowd could yell “Over to you Rosscoe!” Like the kid. Ultimate meat and potatoes.

                          2. our high water mark is really compelling footy, but I can’t fully embrace it yet because I need to see it emerge and prevail in a real furnace.

                          3. We are doing the right thing investing time into JOD and Buss.

                            1. English has had a very good year. Did I learn it tonight? No, but it was emphasized. Underrated. I've been a critic but he's been consistent, and some of his games he's run his opponent into the ground. He embarrassed Briggs tonight - who isn't a bad ruck. Phenomenal work rate, and his marking power is back.

                            2. Naughton and Darcy are the best duo in the game. There's actually a few good duos in the league but they've now kicked 60 in 8 weeks between them. Working so well together.

                            3. Baker can still make it. You can see why he's on an AFL list. Quick, good power, penetrating kick and works hard. Consistency is always his issue but he's good enough to be going around next year.

I know it's a long shot but perhaps the MC and the coach know what's going in terms of team selection and maybe we don't have as many duds as some think.

I really didn't think we were capable of dismantling a top side like we did tonight and GWS are a top side.

I need to have a bit more trust in the players we might describe as being in the bottom 6 of our 23.
