Like you, my family is split. My wife and daughter are mad Dockers (as well as my in-laws) and my son and I are Bulldogs. Needless to say, it will be fun times in the Scragger-household this Sunday.

I've watched quite a bit of the Dockers games this year and whilst they have a couple of Purple Patches (pun intended), They're not blowing the opposition away. I really feel this game could go either way and will be a tight tussle (a lot like the Melbourne game).

Jackson looks lost in the new role. I think they are a better team when he is rucking instead of playing second fiddle to Darcy.

When your first 8x scoring shots are points, it makes it pretty bloody hard. The commentary on that game - Gary "I'm reading off a script" Lyon was so poor as to be pathetic.

Yes - Brisbane were coming through the corridor etc but Freo STILL got their looks. Scoring shots were level at q-time and in Freo's favour at half-time. Sure - they gave it up late (when the game was gone and their fate was clear) but if that half time score was 8.3 vs 3.8 how different does the game look.

As I said above - the slow ball movement does encourage non-kickers like Pearce to try and show leadership by kicking to initiate ball movement and that can only be good for any oppo.

            2. if so, how do we counter it?
They'll try and retain possession exiting d50 then put speed on the ball and either get it over the top to space or hit up to the leading Tracey/Voss...

We need to quickly press the mark and hold them up inside d-half and work to get numbers back to force Tracey and Voss wide if we can...they will still try to come at the foot (they are good players with disciplined leading patterns)...gotta try though.

I don't even know what his role is.

Darcy and Jackson are both in their top 5 players I would guess so they're both gonna get ruck time and forward time...

I'm not sure what you're on about re Lyon. I can't stand most of them. I watch the game with the radio commentary on, delay on digital radio. I flicked on the sound during our game yesterday and the 'commentators' were yabbering on about someone's farm cows, during play. FMD.

They managed 5 goals for the entire game....... They missed easy goals, butchered them. They are slow moving the ball from D50.

                    Docklands: 160m x 129m

                    They're the same.
The camera angles and proximity to the play give the impression of there being way less space at Docklands, but in reality they're similar enough for it not to be much if any sort of issue.
                    TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Sorry guys, I’ve shuffled around my entire work week and co-parenting arrangements to make this game which means we’ll inevitably shit the bed. Just an FYI
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

I just do it manually. Usually the easiest time is a stoppage like a goal.

So I pause the TV and when the radio catches up I unpause it.

More of a request than a question.
Dishwashing liquid, all over the training ground, please, and test out Young's adductor injury........
He is the key for me (And as you said above, Clarke) if we can lock them in, and make them play slow, leaving D50, we got em. Is that the case?

Do the Dockers play to the strengths of their playing group, or to the coach's preference?
Do you think they will flip it, and go full throttle against us?

Have you seen enough from Buss, that he can hold up against any one of the Dockers 4 talls?
