Our defensive group is shithouse and theirs is very good. That’s the difference. Same inside 50s, our best mids got plenty of touches compared to theirs. It’s just our defensive group is so disorganised both in the air and especially on the ground, they scored at will when it went inside 50. Missing Barrass was massive last off season.

We push forward too high all the time and then get caught with our pants down. No other teams gets caught out this much like this, a better defence will stop some of that bleeeing but we're still going to get caught out.

I don't get it. It hasn't changed in 8yrs. We are so inefficient in offence and so efficient in giving up goals the other way.

It’s pathetic how under prepared and not up for it we were today. To allow 8 consecutive goals… we were just nowhere.

I know we will bag old players, and usual suspects, but it’s as much about being prepared and having a method that is going to work. They took our run off half back, prevented us either winning or ball and if we did, having any clear run and overlap, meanwhile they seemed first to it and had outside players steaming at will over that 40 minute period.

Not sure that’s cattle.

That’s preparation and mindset.
