    A doco coming up?

The ABC had a full crew of people at the club yesterday and they've been there before.
I believe we will be part of a documentary. Tom Morris just alluded to an ABC doco in the next 2 weeks
Does anyone know much about it?

If it's by the ABC, it's bound to be wildly inaccurate, and then be subject to costly defamation action that the ABC will invariably lose, and the taxpayer will once again pick up the tab.

I like Tony Armstrong and I think he will make sure it is accurate, otherwise he wouldn;'t put his name to it.

I figure we already pay these pricks over $1bn a year - the very least they could do is be accurate and not get sued for defamation every 2nd week.

Is this unrelated to the amazon doco? At about half the bulldogs games this year they had a camera crew that wasn't broadcast there, I believe they are following either the team or a player on the team for us as well. Being from the Drive to Survive production company you would assume it will be pretty good quality when they release it.

The production company behind landmark documentary Drive to Survive has started work on an AFL series.

London-based media company Box to Box Films is currently in Australia and already working with five AFL clubs for a show to be aired on Amazon.

It’s understood Fremantle, GWS, Western Bulldogs, Gold Coast and Brisbane Lions are in the process of allowing cameras into their inner sanctums as they push for finals.

Sources said the concept revolved more around the star players in each side - such as Marcus Bontempelli and Toby Greene – and their journey, rather than the broader club.

The final product will focus on the last six weeks of the season and then the finals series. Box to Box Films took the sports world by storm with the release of Formula 1 series Drive to Survive in 2019.

The Emmy award-winning company has since gone on to produce shows like Full Swing, Sprint and Tour de France: Unchained and remains the benchmark for sports documentary series.

That was more the actions of some of the more questionable appointees made to run the place* than a problem with most of the staff or a broad cultural problem with the organisation I thought. Micromanagement will never work at an organisation the size of the ABC

*run it into the ground that is
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.
