I'm tending to agree with GG and others. We're hoping we improve with Budarick, Weightman and maybe Treloar acting as 'ins' as well as improvement from out key defenders, maybe guys like Dolan and Hynes.

It's all very speculative. Budarick fills a niche need but was also pushed out of the Suns best defence.
Weightman is class and an instant upgrade on McNeil or Vandermeer IF he returns well from the injuries. Given how unusual they were we will need to wait(man) and see(man).
Treloar has started getting old man injuries so realistically he might play some good games but he's here as a mentor to fill a list spot for a year.
JOD and Buss, far from sure things to be b+ or better players at any stage, let alone next year.
Dolan and Hynes look good, no guarantee their improvement comes quick enough to impact next year.

That said, it's probably less about the specific pieces we have and more on how we use them. So I could see us pretty much anywhere next year from 12th-top 4. History says we'll be middle of the pack under Bevo.

I’ve chosen 4-8 with fingers crossed. Really hoping for improvement across the board and Bont, Darcy & Cody having full seasons.

Injury free, we go top four easily.

We would have been top four this year if Bont and Darcy hadn't missed a lot of games.

Add a fit Cody and Adz as new recruits and the natural improvement with the younger players, to a pre-season working on defensive method and pressure and the cup is ours. Nothing is more certain.

That is assuming no injury, of course. So, as always, it gets back to the quirks of luck and the fickle winds of fortune to reveal the obscure mystery the future holds yet jealously to its breast.

            Is this from the secret?

I am optimistic for the medium to long term, just not seeing much happening in 26.

Optimism is kind of infectious too. Like that big adventure young people had in 1914

I kid of course love your work.

                I voted top 4.

Cody and Adz back, improvement in Darcy, Naughton for a full year,

I also think improvement in JOD, The Bus and our new recruit saves us 3 goals a game.

if Croft practices goal kicking over summer. That’s another Goal a game from home, Cody and Adz.

Joel, Riley and Garcia growth we are on fire

I think a few here would reconsider qe are in the a lot. The Bont slot
                BB.

Looking forward - Naughton, Darcy and JUH. It will be the envy of everyone.

Are you worried about Treloar and Weightman getting back to their best ?

Very. Hence my 'injury free' quibble.

4-8 based on getting more training into everyone and natural progression.

Nobody above us outside of GCS really improved this trade season, any draftees acquired by concessional picks will take a bit of time most likely. Eating shit last year, regenerating/rebuilding will be the smartest play our club has done in ages.
                            TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Do you think Brisbane improves with Oscar Allen and Draper?

                                Genuinely unsure.

On paper they should but Big O and Darcy had a good thing going, selfless. That doesn't exist anymore.

Allen should definitely improve their forward structure, but who knows how it will work out. However it probably doesn't matter what they do, they're probably the most talented list I've ever seen.
