Passed away in Spain after a stroke , he was 72 and very well known in the racing industry as well as our president in turbulent times .

Condolences to the Colomb family. Nick was a good bulldog person who was put in an impossible position by the VFL in 1989 and did what he thought was right.

Before my time as well but I have no doubt that we had received an ultimatum in 1989 where we were told to fold or merge and Columb took the less painful option.
