At least 3 to Dickson and 2 to Schache

If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

Box Hill did not play any Hawthorn AFL players so the result needs to be seen in this context.

Schache had a very good game I thought - moved very well and his kicking was again a highlight. Difficult to understand why he is not in Mackay.

After being virtually unsighted in the first half, Dickson's goal kicking accuracy was all apparent in third.

Greene looked good up forward with his long gadget arms netting him some fine marks and score involvements.

Roberts had a faultless game down back.

Cavarra got into the game more when he went into the midfield and he moves well with ball in hand.

Lachlan Young looks a solid, defensive type.

Lewis Young very good in the air but still prone to howlers with his kicking.

Smith was busy early but seemed to fade out of the game.

I hardly noticed Lynch with only rare flashes of his dash and run.

West was disappointing and had no real impact on the game; a long way off AFL level at this stage.

Sweet and Vandermeer did not play from what I could see.

Our best two shots got goal in a VFL praccy match. That explains 14.2.

        Ominous for tonight in FNQ.

Perhaps Schache & Dicko are all but locks for our first choice set-up but we'll use the JLT - and ideally lesser opponents - to trial a plan B.

          God knows we need one.

            I weird selection.

Which Smith played at VFL level?

I'm guessing that means English gets a lot more time forward today - we have nobody else.

Thanks for the report Prince Imperial. So would you think Schache will play in next week’s JLT and Round 1?

We tend to like Dunkley up forward.
I heard his brother was number 75 for us.

Was very good going forward last year Dunks. One of our better players last season.

I will be surprised if he's not in next week's JLT; but maybe our forward line will really click later today and keep him out!

Will wait and see. Schache really improved in the latter part of the year. Crozier another who did get better as the year went on after a slow start.

                            Thanks for the report.

Some good news, and some opportunities. Good we had a few players who will keep those playing in Mackay honest.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

Well that was very much wishful thinking. Has to be a certainty to play next week.
