    How do we do that?

    I was watching a clip of an indigenous kid with the premiership cup flown out to his community and many others on its tour of the indigenous communities. The little boy said that “nothing interesting happens out here. We have to go to Perth to do something interesting”. Imagine if these communities are seeing the cup up close, then the GF in Perth and we wear our Indigenous strip and have Marra out and about in the week before to win hearts and minds while paying respect to our First Nations people. We should give out as many jumpers as we can afford to. We are a true community club and I’d love for us to show the respect and compassion this fortnight in contrast to the respect and compassion we’ve been denied.

        I’d get the word out on socials. Is the Footscray Fan Boy Facebook page someone in WOOF for example? Could we share this far and wide so that someone in the club or media get hold of it?

            Awesome SG!!

            If anyone has contacts in club land, that’d be great. Ideally we play in our strip, but this is way better than white and gives us the ability to go out and pay our respect. A great plan b.

                                        I would love us to get the engagement up with the indigenous community, absolutely.

                                        However, I also really like our white strip, and think it's by far the best alternate strip in the league.

                                                        This was in the community series this year. Doesn't look like a clash if they wear that dark navy blue. But who knows how the AFL works.

                                                            This was when we played them in Round 19. Based on that, I would say we will wear our normal strip.
