    Bizarro Season 2019

How good is this season woofers!!

Lots of players re-signing from the pre-season onwards and Naughton exploding. And now we sit in the top 4 after ten rounds. We beat the team's near us, above us and clinically beat the teams at the bottom of the ladder. In previous seasons you'd expect us to lose to GCS, Carlton & North on our home deck, but the coaches have the players finely tuned. So after beating these light weights, Including North today, we sit in the top 4. Looking to take some talented kids or address needs in the mid season draft to stockpile.

Now with the unfortunate retiring of Tommy Boyd, our $1.6+M sitting in the salary cap, and sitting in the top 4 and being finals bound, Sam Power will have to hire more staff to take managers calls from free agents like Cognilio wanting to join the Bulldogs and aim at a premiership next year.

Season 2019 will go down in the rich history of the club. The media saying we have wins and respect back. Just these three simple wins against GCS, Carlton & North at our home ground have made all the difference. Go dogs.
Rocket Science: the epitaph for the Beveridge era - whenever it ends - reading 'Here lies a team that could beat anyone on its day, but seldom did when it mattered most'. 15/7/2023

    Cruel but fair!

In the matchday thread the question is raised of whether we don’t have the talent/aren’t very good. We are not in premiership contention but with a relatively healthy list we surely should have won these three matches and how different would our season be.
