Be interesting to know who the worst team is , at a glance I would say Essendon, spent a lot and not a good return yet.

Did you see the article in the Hun about Roughy? He got concussed and though he was playing for us still. Kept going on about Bevo. Poor bloke.

For 30+ goals a season, Lloyd at 64 is outstanding.

We do have the money, so yes. But it needs to be someone who is really going to bring a point of difference.
I wouldn't be chasing big bodied midfielders.

An A grade small forward and/or an A grade Key defender would be on my shopping list.

Resign Bailey Dale and play him as a Dicko replacement when he retires.
Throw all the money behind a grade A key defender.

Our forward line might of been a mess at the start of this season but now I see what we have building, Lloyd, Schache, Naughton, Dickson, Dale, I feel we lack most in defense, specially with Morris gone for at minimum, 12 months to forever.

Totally agree. Interesting that we have been linked to Alex Keith and Darcy Moore as possible targets. It’s an interesting one as Keith would be running out of Adelaide and Moore would cost far more. I think Moore is flashily and would be a promoters dream but I feel Keith at 28 is more like what we are looking for with Bulldog values. With is less of a risk assembly as Moore is injury prone.

We have also been linked to Anthony McDonald Tipungwuti if true that would be a good get and maybe Wallis as a swap would work out as they have shown interest before in him. Essendon are very hard to deal with and maybe this is a project for a Brett Goode’s to land.

I've watched all the Essendon games this year.. I don't rate Tipungwuti - his got some tricks but really his had some super flat spells as well, I honestly think retaining Dale and keeping the Naughton / Schache / Dale / West / Lloyd forward line and working on that is a huge plus.

Again, have also been (Forced) to watch all the Collingwood games this year, I'd take Darcy Moore over Keith any day. Moore is a really, really solid backman in ever sense of the word.

I’d be happy with either Keith or Moore.

Moore’s injuries are a worry as he’ll cost a fortune to pry out of the pies - not in love with blokes who have continuous injuries in the same part of the body. Having said this, Wood has managed to keep his hammy a under control and I understand there is a lot that can be done to prevent the soft tissue injuries.

Here’s an interesting one - Dons are red hot on JJ, were anyway. Would you consider a straight swap for Tippa?

No. JJ has proven he can perform on the biggest stage in the game. Tippa struggles with consistency. In all reality Tippa is worth no more than a second rounder, maybe.

Play to their skills. JJ is our best runner and good long kick. I don’t want to see him under packs and I don’t want to see him in other colours. If we had a genuine CHB JJ would look twice as good.
