I'm torn. He's a tease and people tend to focus on what he could be as opposed to what he actually produces.

On the other hand, he has the ability to immediately offer support to both English and Naughton which is much needed. The concern surrounds our structure with Bruce, Naughton, Lobb plus Marra and Darcy.

I agree, he suits us mainly because he has the ability to ruck and as a forward he often teases more than pleases.
I suppose if he joins us I'll be excited, not sure I would shed a tear if we don't land him

Not really interested in Lobb. Any tall we get needs to play back.

I tend to agree, I also think in big finals he would go missing.

That sounds a reasonable number. With Bruce coming back it begs the question of what happens with the development of Marra and Schache?

I don't quite get why Freo couldn't match that.

I'd be surprised if Bruce goes past the end of next year ie 2024.
Darcy will need time.

Personally I'm all for it. Naughty needs support, Marra isn't going to be a second key next year and Lobb would also solve our second ruck issue.

Ironically I remember when Tim came to our club he was asked did he model his on anyone. His answer was Rory Lobb.

Until Rory Lobb signs a contract with us he doesn't belong in this thread (if this thread even exists).

I wasn't pro Lobbe but i've come around.

It would be great for Jamarra and his development. He would end up getting the 3rd or 4th defender. Those type of defenders won't be able to go with Marra.

We can use Lobbe in the ruck to help out Tim who can then also play forward on his break.

Darcy can be used in defence as an intercept backmen. It would be great for his development as it is easier to learn the trade down back.

Bruce could take some time to comeback from his knee if at all. He will need to work to get in shape as the game is still getting quicker.

I am sold on Lobb.
