Is it true Travis Varcoe is on that reality show, I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here?
If so, how do people feel about that?
I've never watch the show but I have no real opinion on if he should be apart of it.
I would have thought it would get in the way of his duties with us but I guess the club would have approved it

It's already been recorded in November, which I think was prior to him being employed with us, and I'm sure the club were aware of it. I don't have any issues with it.

Thanks for the clarification

Former footy star Travis Varcoe says “a lot of players” hated life in the AFL quarantine hub.
Varcoe, who is competing on the Channel 10’s I’m A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here, made the hub confession on the show on Monday night.
The former Geelong and Collingwood star said: “The hub was 24-7. It was actually quite hard living in the actual hub itself because I’m not one bit footy driven.
“Some players loved it, breathed it, and they excelled. But a lot of players hated it. I, personally, really struggled.”
Varcoe retired from AFL in 2020 after a 15-year career, and has joined the Western Bulldogs as an AFL development coach for the 2021 season.
Asked what it was like to play in a Grand Final, Varcoe, a two time premiership player, said: “I loved running out, hearing the energy and the roar. It’s unbelievable. I’m of the mindset, ‘This might never happen again, so just enjoy it.’”
Varcoe is outspoken about racist slurs aimed at Indigenous players by footy fans, and has campaigned for change.
“When you get into this caper of work, you grow a thick skin, but your friends, family and loved ones are not as strong as you are,” he told the Herald Sun in 2019.
“It’s very disheartening. No one should be treated like that, no matter if you’re Aboriginal or what your heritage is.”

My partner and our oldest kid watch the show and so I am forced to endure it.
It's highly edited etc etc but it's certainly painting him in a positive light. He always seemed like he'd be a good bloke to me and he comes across as affable, sensitive and a good family man.
