McNeil and Scott both considered best 22 by Bevo. Interesting.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

That probably means no JJ right?

            Very strange.

Bailey Dale making one of the announcements means he's probably a lock.

If you'd told me at the start of the pre-season Dale, McNeil & Scott would all be playing round 1, I would have laughed.

And with virtually no injury list to speak of either.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

Based on the announcements and Crozier injured, I would say only one change from last weeks game, ie Treloar in, plus a sub.

No Wood & Crozier in defence probably gives the likes of Dale & Scott more opportunities though.

I'm expecting JJ to miss given the debutants already named and the pre-season selections. I hope this serves as a massive wake up call. More focus on footy, less on fashion and smoothies.

I think you maybe right about Duryea coming in as a sub

Is it though? JJ cops a lot of heat but I’m struggling to think of one thing that Scott can do even half as good.

                              It is.

I don't know enough about Scott one way or the other, but I've seen enough of Johannisen.

I'm not a fan of half backs that like doing flashy stand out things but are reluctant to do anything else.

Have to say those four debutantes give us a nice freshen up going into rd 1. I was very impressed with Scott from ground level at the AAMI game.
Excited to see them all play Friday night on the big stage.
