Certainly have more confidence around this than the Carlton game.

We have had some pretty good results against Port and were a bit unlucky to lose there last year.

It's an interesting point, but in terms of goal % per I50 we have 2 games which stand out in terms of our worst performances, Sunday's game vs Carlton and also rd2 vs WC when we gave up a goal on about 30% of our opponents I50's... for the rest of the games we sit between 15-21%. Even against Richmond it was only 20% which is very good.. it was just the sheer number of I50's that hurt, as well as a key forward we couldn't contain.

Some would say that the defensive set-up in terms of personnel was as strong as it might get against WC, so even taking into account their extremely talented forward-line there's many factors that go to determining how our defensive group performs.

But agree we need some re-enforcements/ different personnel in that area of the ground.
