Who are our best candidates for the AA Squad currently?

    Bruce 30 goals
    Naughton 27 goals

    Keath
    Dale
    Daniel

    Bontempelli
    Macrae
    Treloar
    Liberatore

The initial larger squad is 40. So 6 might be achievable.

For the squad Bruce and/or Naughton might make it. Being close to the top of the Coleman gets noticed, but Naughton has ability and impact way beyond that.

Lot of competition for Keath and doesn't have the profile to get the attention.

Dale is putting up exceptional numbers and would deserve a spot currently, while Caleb has been there before and it seems easier to maintain than get into. Personally have Dale ahead of Daniel year to date and they may be competing for the same spot.

Of the mids Treloar would now be out of contention with the injury but the other 3 should be definites if they maintain their form.

        agree with this.

Dale is in red hot form and surely must be rewarded.

          Bont, Macrae, Libba, Naughton certainties

          Dale & Daniel chances

Treloar & Dunkley would be chances if not injured

          Keath & Bruce no chance

Is Williams the next Jack Macrae? Absolute superstar no one else notices...

It's only that injury break that is stopping him, imo. If he has a big second half of the season, can definitely see him pushing. He's a beast.

While we consider Williams important, he would clearly be behind Dale at this point in regard to AA and when we consider that Caleb is also vying for a similar spot it makes it virtually impossible for Williams to be considered at this point.

Obviously this can be changed through the rest of the season, but if Bailey Dale maintains his form I just don't see how Williams could get ahead of him.
