Yeah, Brisbane have a soft underbelly and can be gotten. If we somehow flick a switch today and find some form, we're a chance but it's hard to believe in this group after the last 3 weeks.

Yeah I don’t think we are a prelim side atm. But if we are good enough, I don’t believe the added degree of difficulty of the task at hand will be the blocker.

Andrews has gone from an elite intercept/KPD stopper combo to someone who looks rattled under a high ball.

Cameron kicked 5 last night and they will need him to replicate that going fwd. Daniher had a shocker, but then again he had May to contend with.

I didn’t even recognise Andrews last night. I thought he looked pretty avge and looks like a guy lacking confidence.

With no Hipwood/Mcstay, Daniher is like our Naughton…alone up fwd with the weight of the world on his shoulders

Yep, it’s going to be a tough sell to back up after this.. for this group to progress they need to win as it’s going to be tough to rebound after pretty much *!*!*!*!ing up 10 months of work in the space of 480min.

I’m confident we will beat Essendon… because we simply have to.

Frankly, there are no excuses if we lose to the bombers. None. Whilst they’ve had a decent year compared to their recent history, they’re still a weak top 8 side having only beaten 1 top 8 side all year. Teams like that don’t stack up in the finals. The last 3 weeks have been horrendous for us, but it’ll be nothing compared to losing to this mob.

This should be the '19 EF in reverse.

We belted GWS a few weeks prior, came in as the form side, but were rightfully smacked by them in a hard and spiteful final. That needs to be replicated by us today - we should be grinding their kids into the ground.

Even though Cordy won’t be on Stringer when he’s fwd, (god I hope not anyway), I wanna see Cordy make Stringer earn every possession if he’s in his vicinity. Same with Wood. These 2 guys need to bring it, and HARD.

Same with Merrett and Parish. They have to be bodied, with hard, fierce tackling. Wouldn’t mind seeing R.smith run through one of them if given the chance. If they happen to win, I want them to spend the majority of the week in ice baths. If I see bruise free footy, I will literally lose it in the stand.

If we lose we will have excuses offered, but none of them will really stack up.

We have forged our own path and it is on us to make it work.

If we smack into Essendon players recklessly they will be given soft free kicks.

we need to be disciplined because the umpires will do whatever they can to get the AFL's and Ch7's glory boys a leg up.
