Yeah, it's frustrating but he's only 21 and the effort is always there....and his line running is completely off the charts.
    TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

He might be. But I kind of don't discount how hard this time is for everyone at the expense/ consideration of others because everyone is living within a special niche in hell.

I mean I know introverts doing it tougher than everyone else right now. It's a weird time.

We need to harness his strengths, which is that straight line running and finishing around goal. He shouldn't be used in centre bounces at all, just lacks the defensive/spatial awareness and gets torched too often. He's better off playing at half forward and rolling up as the extra, then running hard forward into space.

I'd prefer to see Treloar at centre bounces, unless his body doesn't allow it (and if so, why is he playing?)

Easton has been fantastic these finals, and deserves recognition for it. That play where he clearly fluffed the mark and still got back to make sure it wasn't a goal showed the exact type of fortitude you need from defenders under pressure and a great example the likes of Gardner (who probably let himself down with second efforts a couple of times) needs to see up close and learn from.

There's something wrong with Treloar's head at the moment, and I'm not entirely convinced it's positional or on the back of having come back from injury and being out of tune with the team. A bigger role might suit him, he's never had to be the sixth in line after establishing himself as an AFL player and possibly that's something he's getting used to mentally.
          Good call on Easton...
Of the guys who have missed big patches this year a few are showing good signs at the right time, namely
Dunks.. his 2nd half was great
          Wood... very good

We do need Treloar to lift.. and VDM does he keep his place... if there was VFL I'd be leaning towards McNeil.

For those asking about the Bailey Smith celebration, he was saying he has 'ice in his veins' ala NBA player D'Angelo Russell.

I personally wish he had used this celebration against the Bombers last week.

I do wonder about his mental health. He’s acknowledged challenges in the past. I think his partner and baby live in Qld but I presume he would still have been unable to see them because of quarantine. That could mess with your head. These are tough times, which is partly why I regard this as a brilliant against the odds win, but maybe it explains Adam’s poor game. I hope he can pull through this, as we need his pace and line breaking ability.

I think it was Roarke Smith who did that after his eighth goal.

Considering all the factors that have been against us with the virus, the lack of home crowd, no vfl, it's an incredible win.

Hey GD, we are literally sticking it to everyone right now. Rest assured, the great halls will be filled with songs of these feats for many moons.

I honestly felt when Bailey Williams dropped that mark(I think Bailey Dale made it difficult for him) and Zac levelled the game that we were in for a heartbreaking loss. Its critical more than ever against Brisbane for the defenders to take marks and I just felt it was going to be our Achilles heel.

At quarter time we were getting beaten by what we know which was annoying but I think Bevo's adjustment to get English to ruck centre bounce and for Tim to be competitive was a huge reason why we won the game.

Tim has taken a step forward in the last two week for mine, I still think he is a forward/ruck and I cant wait to get the right structure around him because that forward line of ours is going to take us on one hell of a ride in the years to come.

I wish I understood what this meant.

He's won 17 times when we've been down at 3/4 time?

How would that stack up against most other coaches?
