Collingwood - thank you for giving us Treloar, a points surplus to match the JUH bid, and $300k pa for our salary cap for five years.

Kerry Packer once sold Channel 9 to Alan Bond for $1.3bn, then bought it back a few years later for $300m. He said "you only ever get one Alan Bond in your lifetime" and Collingwood is our Alan Bond.

Thanks to North Melbourne for deciding to stake their future on Tasmania, rather than Ballarat. Now we get have a strong home away from home an hour down the road twice a year and financially benefit at the same time.

This years grand final must be eating st kilda fans alive.

It’ll feature current stars of the game in Bont, Naughton and Petracca. All could be playing on the same list. And we are so lucky to have the best two of the 3 playing for us. So yeah thanks saints.

It’s weird how a team can win 3 of 4 premierships but still be regarded as any other premier rather than a dynasty ala Brisbane and hawthorn. I wonder why.

Despite getting the number 1 last year and playing a Grand Final this year, we will still get Sam Darcy this year who is touted as a top 3 kid.

That's with Lachie Hunter and Tom Liberatore playing in the GF, Zaine Cordy a chance, and VC Wally cheering the boys on.
