            I flew into Melbourne yesterday afternoon. Besides being a bumpy landing with the wind, what stood out was looking down on the western suburbs and what stood out was the Whitten Oval. It looked absolutely glorious from the air. Perfectly mowed green striped turf (looked like an oasis in the urban jungle of the inner west) and the light towers and new structures made the whole precint look awesome.

                        Facilities are looking fantastic. How good is the indoor playing area.

                                        It has a full ceiling net. Walked through it tonight. Spacious.
