I'm just happy that Gards is still on zero votes.

Once upon a time a guy who had to scrap just to get on an AFL list, then works his arse off every training session, would have been celebrated. Sometimes the way we criticise players is way over the top

I think he's won a lot of respect on here to come as far as he has, much like other former whipping boy Roarke Smith.

Spot on. His first season was terrible but he’s grown and persisted and I think is now broadly recognised as a key part of our best 26 despite continuing to have limitations.

Jarrad Grant, Mitch Honeychurch, Ayce Cordy, even Sam Power……

Of current players it’s Hannan or Cordy for me and hope both prove me very wrong.
