Other than 3 mins of great play, that was putrid.

I’m sick to death of watching this team allow opposition to play such uncontested football. Our refusal to play one on one is farcical.

There's something wrong with me we've established that, but I really enjoyed that tactical battle.

It's so ingrained in our guys not to kick to a contest we just kept going in circles until we were forced to.

I hope this really anaemic performance today is a precursor to us coming out firing next week in response, hopefully off the back of Carlton getting toweled up tonight..

That was one of the smelliest wins I've ever witnessed. Umpiring was next level horseshit and I had a strong suspicion that an umpire howler was going to influence the result in those last few minutes.

It's ugly no doubt but we got the four points.

GWS tried to replicate what Fremantle did to us last week, but without success. One positive is that we defended the ground well (aside from that patch in the third quarter). Third lowest score against for the season. Conversely, our forwards were abysmal early and were the main reason why we didn't take a healthy lead into half time.
