I don't know if this is a must win. Last week was a bigger game, really our shot at unlikely top 4 spot. Going to be very difficult to beat the Dees, especially on their home deck. I think the games against Saints, Eagles and Blues, all probably going to miss the 8 but not easy beats, they are the ones.

Lose v Dees and we still go 7-3 if we do whatever is good enough for a top 8 side.

Will be a very tough game. I see Melbourne as part of the top bunch, and us in the group below them. I think their class will shine through our pressure and determination.

Maybe if Bonnie Hunt is going to turn the ball over from 3 straight kick-ins, don’t let her take the next one.

Thought last week would tell the story of how the season would play out. Was close enough that this week felt do or die too. Think we’re dead. Pretty flat performance today.

31 inside 50’s to 7. Melbourne are a better side but we just look like we’ve got nothing in the tank.

Pretty much completely outplayed. Our kicking straight to them whilst in their F50 was really costly. Elle as usual gave her all. Wilcox still looks good and was able to find space to kick which others couldn’t. Dees so we’ll set up around the ball and 20 to 30m away, nearly always someone to hand pass or kick to that was in the clear.

Perhaps our drop off is typical of a young side? Also related to whom we are playing of course.

Pick yourselves, dust yourself off. Only a few weeks to go. Let’s finish with a few wins girls.
