Good players to have in finals. I wish he could get around the ground better. But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.Comment

I actually like Sweet.
If we stop looking at what he can't do, and pay attention to what he can do, we'll be in a better place.
Completely different ruck to Tim but I don't think it's a coincidence we've generally played better and won more games when Sweet has played. He's a very good tap ruck, and when you had/have one of the best midfields in the league, the benefit is obvious.
I wish he was better around the ground and hopefully he can keep making improvements but we shouldn't overlook him because he can't do what Tim does.W00F!Comment

Sweet isn't terrible around the ground compared to like for like ruckman.
We don't adjust our gameplan when English is out which obviously doesn't suit/allow Sweet to get more of the footy.More of an In Bruges guy?Comment

In 11 games he has averaged 8 disposals and 2 marks - not good enoughFFC: Established 1883

I prefer my ruckman to be measured on hit outs to advantage and other 1%.
Give me Ben Hudson type over a Jeff White type any day of the week.More of an In Bruges guy?Comment

I get where you’re coming from but I can’t help but wonder if it’s because in the last 25 years at least we haven’t had a Jeff White type.- I'm a visionary - Only here to confirm my biases -Comment

Re: Three of the ten top hit outers to advantage are Bulldogs but not Tim.
Sweet actually moves quite well for a tall and it’s just learning how to read the play and work on his running / transition game to get him to add more value outside of the immediate contest. If he can add being a long down the line marking option and running to the right spot to create space and/or receive in transition, suddenly he’s a much more enticing prospect. I hope the coaching staff are looking to add incremental elements to round out his game. Let’s not try to make him Dean Cox.Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?Comment
